I have been a passionate photographer from a very young age. Although done as a hobby for numerous years I have been a volunteer photographer for Girl Guiding UK ( The Girl Guides Association ) and The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland.
Many of my flower images were taken in the Garden. Tiny flowers when viewed close up provide immense detail and colour. Reflecting them in water showcases their beauty and colour in a different way.
I am a keen member of Alnwick and District Camera Club and gained my licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society several years ago.
I have images In the following publications:-
“The Alnwick Garden Souvenir Guide Book”
“The Making of The Alnwick Garden” by Ian August.
“Lions of the North” by The Duke of Northumberland
“Alnwick Castle”by James McDonald
“Cherry Ingram”. By Naoko Abe
“The Gardeners Garden” by Madison Cox
“Alnwick Castle Guide Book”
“The Royal Photographic Society portfolio 3”
Although I love flower photography one of my other passions is wildlife in Canada and Alaska. – grizzly and black bears in particular. !!
