Following a long career in publicity and marketing Pam feels she has now found her niche by being creative and indulging her passion for fabrics and yarns.
Her bag making started when she lived at Preston under Scar and took part in the annual Preston Artists Exhibition. These skills were further developed when she volunteered at Gayle Mill and made items for the Annual Christmas Fayre.
For the last eighteen months Pam, together with a group of friends, has been involved in the Pop-Up Craft Shop in Askrigg which was due to close when the opportunity to sell at Chapel Gallery cropped up.
Describing herself as a “fabricaholic”, Pam now produces a range of different bags always with the emphasis on practicality. Knitting is her “television hobby” and she cannot sit without busying herself with knitting on her lap
